Nowadays there are so many scammers in UAE inviting people for interviews and offering fake jobs in exchange for money. We have put together a list of identified offices for scammers in Dubai, Sharjah and all over UAE. If you are invited for an interview to any office on this list don’t go, you will waste your time and money. They will tell you that you have been hired and ask you to pay a certain amount usually 200aed so that “they process your papers”. But it’s all fake, the moment you pay the money you will never get the job and you will never get your money back.

How to Identify Scam Interview Invitations

1. Just go to JobScamDetector.ae and paste the interview email you received, the system will tell you if it’s a scam or not.
2. Usually the email will not be addressed to you directly it will ready something like “Dear Candidate” or “Dear Applicant”
3. The email will not mention the position you applied for, they will just say come for the interviews but never mentions the positions. In some cases they do mention the position so take note of other red flags
4. The English in the email will not be professional English with lots of grammar and spelling mistakes
5. When you quickly receive a response just after applying especially through Indeed there are higher chances that it’s a scam.
6. Most scams also ask to communicate on WhatsApp and they will send you location and more info on WhatsApp
7. If you applied for example waiter position and the interview invitation is not from a restaurant chances are high it’s a scam.
8. Check the email they use and try to go to their website if they have one, the website will be sub standard with generic content.
